BIMCAD Projects ("we", "us", "our") is operated by BIMCAD Studio to support internal project management, billing, invoicing, and file delivery. Questions about this policy: info@projects.bimcadstudio.com.
Information we collect
Depending on your role and use of the platform, we may process:
- Account data: name, email address, role, and authentication activity
- Business data you enter: clients, contacts, projects, descriptions, statuses, and assignments
- Financial data: billing type, rates, budgets, invoices, and related records (visible by role)
- Time entries: hours logged, dates, notes, and linked projects
- Files: uploads and metadata associated with projects
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, session logs, and audit trail entries
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Provide and operate the BIMCAD Projects service
- Authenticate users and enforce role-based permissions
- Generate invoices, reports, notifications, and audit logs
- Store and organize project deliverables when integrations are enabled
- Maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability
We do not sell personal information.
Google Drive
If an administrator connects Google Drive, project files may be stored in that Google account under folders organized by client and project. We access Google Drive only after explicit administrator authorization through Google OAuth, and only to create folders, upload, list, and retrieve files related to projects in this platform.

Sharing and subprocessors
We may share data with service providers that help run the platform, such as:
- Web hosting and infrastructure
- Email delivery (operational notifications)
- Google Drive (when connected by an administrator)
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Retention and security
Data is retained while your organization uses the service and as needed for legal, accounting, or operational requirements. We apply technical and organizational measures—including access controls, encrypted sessions, and audit logging—to help protect against unauthorized access.
Your choices
Organization administrators manage user accounts and much of the data in the platform. For access, correction, or deletion requests, contact your administrator first, or email us at info@projects.bimcadstudio.com.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
